i've still been in the process of trying to find a job. i've been doing applications out the wazoo lately and i did actually find a place where i got to the second round of interviews, and they said they liked me and that they'd call me back. i'm still waiting for that call, lmao. it's been like almost three weeks since i did that interview so i think i'm lowkey just going to give up on that one and apply to other places, tho i do leave for 3 weeks in july so it's going to be kind of hard to have a job during that so i might just resume job searching after i get back. i had a place that did want to interview me, but i told them i'd be out in july so they just put my application on hold. maybe i should've just lied and told them later but i feel like it would've ended up the same either way.
while dealing with that, at least being unemployed has given me a lot of time to work on personal projects-- i'm working on my comic now and i'm doing the whole rest of the process on procreate. i was originally going to do the thumbnailing just in my sketchbook, but since i'm home and have access to my ipad anyway i'm just doing it all on there in order to speed up the process. i kind of don't know if i'll be able to finish it before my semester starts; i'm taking my ipad with me on my trip so i can work on it then but i'll obviously be busy doing other stuff, lol. otherwise.. my summer is going decent so far
